Quick FAQ

The essentials to decide if JKB fits your venue.

Do guests need to download an app?

No. They point the camera at the QR, open JKB in the browser, and request a song — no install. Your team (admin and operator) can install the panel on the phone and enable Chrome notifications.

Do I need a computer connected to the TV?

Not required. Use what you already have: a PC over HDMI (open the player and drag the window to the TV, full screen); a Smart TV (browser at jkb.app.br/tv + the 6-digit code from the panel); or the Fire Stick app.

Does it work on Amazon Fire Stick?

Yes. We have a dedicated Amazon Fire Stick app (Downloader: jkb.app.br/dwn/fire). It’s an option, not a requirement — Smart TV and PC over HDMI work too.

Can guests call a waiter with the same QR?

Yes. On the same phone they request songs and can call a waiter. Your team sees it in the panel and can get Chrome and phone alerts.

Does the team get phone alerts?

Yes. In Chrome (or the installed app), admins and operators enable notifications and get alerts for song requests and waiter calls, including with the tab in the background.
